As part of sealing the CRP marine discharge outlet, two Ø 1000 mm steel pipes from the maneuver chamber of the İSU Plajyolu Wastewater Treatment Plant were cut. The maneuver chamber was filled with water up to sea level. Underwater cutting was performed on the steel pipes, removing 1500 mm pipe sections. Cleaning was conducted inside the discharge lines using a pump. Pipe sealing devices were installed to seal the pipes. Finally, the water inside the maneuver chamber was pumped out, completing the work.
