Marmara Diving is structured as a focused core team supported by a qualified pool of specialist personnel engaged on a project basis. This allows us to scale our workforce to the scope and duration of each project — and it means the people we place on a job are selected for that job, not simply those who happened to be available.
Lines of responsibility are short. Project management, commercial responsibility and operational oversight sit close together, which keeps decision-making fast and gives our clients a single point of accountability from tender stage through to project close-out.
All personnel deployed on our projects — whether core staff or project-engaged specialists — work under our Integrated Management System and are verified for certification, competence and medical fitness before mobilisation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- General Manager — Ultimate authority over the Integrated Management System; management review; external representation of the company.
- Management Representative — Operation of the management system; internal audit; document control.
- Project Manager — Project-level management system compliance; client coordination; management of the site team.
- HSE Officer — Occupational health and safety programme; incident investigation; legal compliance. Reports to both the General Manager and the Management Representative.
- Diving Supervisor — Ultimate responsibility for safety in the field; dive planning and records; pre-operation risk assessment. The authority to stop the operation whenever diving cannot be carried out safely rests with the Diving Supervisor alone.
- Site Engineer — Technical execution; equipment preparation and verification; site measurement and reporting.
- Dive Team — Working diver, tender diver and standby diver.
- Equipment Technicians — Maintenance, testing and certification tracking of diving and support equipment.
Support and External Parties
Our operations are carried out in coordination with a dive medical advisor, the relevant class society, approved subcontractors and the client representative. No subcontractor is deployed before being entered on our Approved Supplier List and completing site induction.
